t was a case of the devil in the detail for this photo, which appeared on page four of The Sunday Times on May 4.

Snapped during the raid of the Sunday tabloid by fraud squad police over the weekend, the notice board in the background sports The West Australian's disastrous "FOUND" front page.

This infamously announced the discovery of HMAS Sydney, which soon proved to be a false alarm (see the Sunday Times story from August 19 to its right).

Not stopping the ridicule, the Sunday Times wall, at right of picture, can also be seen sporting a poster asking, "Is it true? ...or did you read it in The West?
